Behavior

Children generally respond favorably to praise or incentives that encourage good decision-making. It is RightTimeKIDS’ policy to focus on positive behavior. There are other times when behavior warrants correction. In this instance, RightTimeKIDS chooses to provide verbal guidance and redirection to a different activity. If necessary the staff may require the child to have a short “time-out” (3-5 min) from their activities. In the interest of safety for all children visiting RightTimeKIDS, individuals who are exceptionally aggressive will be asked not to return until there is a significant improvement in their behavior. Children are expected to handle themselves in a socially acceptable manner. It is important for each child’s safety that RightTimeKIDS rules are followed.

Check In & Check Out

A completed registration form is required on your first visit to RightTimeKIDS. The information provided on these forms is important for your child’s welfare. When checking out you will receive a summary of the stay that will include any additional charges incurred. All charges incurred are due and payable at checkout time. If a member’s program hours have been exceeded, the additional charges will be due at the time of checkout and will be billed at the drop-in rate. For our parents convenience RightTimeKIDS accepts cash, checks, MasterCard, and Visa.

Cleanliness

Each person employed with RightTimeKIDS is dedicated to providing a clean, well cared for center. This is part of everyone's job. If there is ever an issue with a center’s level of cleanliness, please let a staff member know so that immediate action can be taken.

Door Policy

For safety and security reasons we ask that parents please DO NOT OPEN the play area door without the assistance of a RightTimeKIDS’ employee. For added security, a RightTimeKIDS’ associate MUST escort all children into and out of the play area. ALL adults must receive permission and sign-in before entering the play area.

Healthy Children

It is RightTimeKIDS' strict policy NOT to accept children who are ill. Reasonable precautions are taken to safeguard children against illness. Your cooperation is required in not asking us to care for your children when they are sick. Please do not bring in your child to RightTimeKIDS with a cold, sore throat, rash, cough, diarrhea or pink eye. Do not bring in a child who has had a fever or has vomited in the past 24 hours. If a child becomes sick during the course of their stay, the child will be separated from others (within eyesight and hearing of our staff) and the parents will be contacted immediately. Parents will be expected to pick-up their sick child in a prompt manner. RightTimeKIDS' staff has first aid training and will administer to minor cuts and bruises when applicable. In the event of a medical emergency, your child will be transported to an appropriate medical facility by the local emergency unit for treatment at the expense of the parents.

Immunizations

Most states require childcare facilities to have each child's immunization records as well as a health care summary on file. Please check with your RightTimeKIDS facility as regulations vary from state to state.

Incident Reports

Despite the training and best efforts of the RightTimeKIDS’ staff, accidents and incidents will inevitably occur. Should an incident occur during your child’s stay you will receive a written “incident report”. The staff member on duty will sign the report, will ask you to review it with them, and then will ask you to sign it. If you have any questions at the time of the incident, please do not hesitate to ask for clarification.

Personal or Lost Items

RightTimeKIDS is not responsible for personal items including, but not limited to, clothing, shoes and toys. RightTimeKIDS requests that children NOT bring personal toys with them. Items left at the facility will be stored in a lost and found box and donated to a local charity after 30 days.

Photo ID Required

Every time you check your kids out of a RightTimeKIDS center, you will need to show your Photo ID. A RightTimeKIDS’ staff member should always ask you to show a Photo ID prior to allowing your child out of the play area. No matter how well our staff knows you personally, they should continue to ask you to show your ID prior to checkout. This is perhaps our most important security procedure.

Caregiver Ratios

Children are in good hands at RightTimeKIDS. For every center there will always be one caregiver per every 1-5 children under 2 years of age, and for children 2 years and up, there is a 10 children to one caregiver ratio. Staff is scheduled daily to exceed these minimum requirements so that the children will have more personal attention. Every RightTimeKIDS center has staff on-call in the event that more caregivers are needed.

Refunds

There are no refunds 14 days after a package purchase. Hours purchased using a payment agreement are not eligible for a refund. In the case of a refund, any used hours will be charged at the drop-in rate. Refund requests must be submitted in writing and are paid within 30 days by company check.

Safety and Security

Safety and security are of the utmost importance to everyone at RightTimeKIDS. Our facilities and policies are designed with this in mind. All RightTimeKIDS’ staff members are certified in infant and child first aid and CPR. Each employee has had a complete background check prior to hiring, including criminal and employment screening. Our staff is comprised of trained and experienced childcare professionals. The facilities contain surveillance cameras in multiple locations. A photo ID is required to pick-up a child and a child will only be released to persons designated on your registration forms or in your RightTimeKIDS’ profile. Complete emergency procedures are on file at every location.

Special Needs

Please make RightTimeKIDS aware of any special needs your child requires. Each child should be able to play independently within our staff ratio and without extra assistance. RightTimeKIDS does not discriminate.

Toilet Training and Diapering

Many young children are not fully toilet trained. If your child is in this category, please bring all necessary supplies such as disposable diapers, training pants, diaper wipes and an additional change of clothing. Our staff will change any child who has an accident and each child will be given toilet training encouragement when possible. There will be additional charges for diapers and clothing supplied by RightTimeKIDS.
