When we first started RightTimeKIDS many of our customers thought that we were a large, nationally franchised operation. That's because from the beginning we wanted to set our quality standard high and keep our locations consistent, so that customers could always be assured of the same high level of service no matter which RightTimeKIDS location they visited. But we also realized that we were forging new ground with drop-in childcare and found that there were few places to go to get questions answered when we had them.
So as we opened each of our locations, we improved and documented all of our processes and found that more and more people were turning to us for advice. We also continued to get inquiries from our customers about the potential for opening their own locations, so it made sense to package our experience and knowledge into a licensed offering. Licensing our resources would offer others who saw a need to drop-in childcare in their area a complete package to get started with their own center. And the package would help new business owners get open and operating faster and without the typical costly mistakes made by many new business owners.
Our first licensed location opened in Huntersville, North Carolina in December of 2004. Since then we have licensed multiple locations in North and South Carolina, and are now ready to begin franchising throughout the United States.
